With on demand printing, you don't have to purchase any inventory up front. When a fan buys your merch, the product is created on demand, so the manufacturing, printing and shipping costs are deducted from the item cost at the time of purchase. We take a small percentage of the net-profit and you keep the rest.

Here's how the costs are broken down

When a fan purchases merch from your free, branded, Merch Sherpa Online Storefront, you start with the Purchase Price of the item PLUS we ask your fans to donate to help cover shipping costs - like a tip for a delivery driver.

From the Purchase price of the item, the following costs are deducted:

• Base Product Price Includes:
  • The Blank product (tshirt, hoodie, etc)
  • Single print area customization
  • Mockup previews
• Additional Printing Costs:
  
  • Custom inside labels (does not apply to all-over prints)
  • Additional print areas (for example front and back printing)

    • (labels & additional areas do not apply to all-over prints)

  • Larger sizes (2XL and up)
  • Embroidery digitization fee
• Platform and Shipping:
  • Shipping costs charged by the manufacturer
    • These are generally covered if your fan kicks in a donation
  • 20% Merch Sherpa Platform fee
    • This covers our cost hosting the platform, integration with the print on demand suppliers, and providing support to you and your fans when needed.
