With on demand printing, you don't have to purchase any inventory up front. When a fan buys your merch, the product is created on demand, so the manufacturing, printing and shipping costs are deducted from the item cost at the time of purchase. We take a small percentage of the net-profit and you keep the rest.

Here's how the costs are broken down

When a fan purchases merch from your free, branded, Merch Sherpa Online Storefront, you start with the Purchase Price of the item PLUS we ask your fans to donate to help cover shipping costs - like a tip for a delivery driver.

From the Purchase price of the item, the following costs are deducted:

• Payment Gateway fees
  • These are the same as Square of any other payment processing platform
    
• Base Product Price Includes:
  • The Blank product (tshirt, hoodie, etc)
  • Single print area customization
  • Mockup previews
• Additional Printing Costs:
  
  • Custom labels
  • Larger sizes (2XL and up)
  •  Embroidery digitization fee
  • Additional print areas (for example front and back printing)
    
    These fees do not apply to all-over print products
    
    
• Platform and Shipping:
  • Shipping costs charged by the manufacturer
    • These are generally covered if your fan kicks in a donation
  • Sales Tax charged by the manufacturer
  • 20% Merch Sherpa Platform fee
    • This covers hosting the platform, integration with the print on demand suppliers, and providing support to you and your fans when needed.
